A sweet family session….

Oh Sarah, so sweet + lovely! Bravo!!
When people ask me the question, “how was your trip?”, I don’t know where to begin. Although the poverty was so intense and heartbreaking and unlike anything I’ve ever seen, there was a beauty and joy among the people that I have never experienced. My friend on the trip said it’s as if they are giving you their smile…it’s so big, joyful, and real. I have never felt more of a passion for photography as when I was there, among these people. It was different than any type of photography I have done. It was raw and it was real…there was beauty and joy within the pain and suffering. They love Jesus with everything in them – a completely uninhibited love.
Let Them LOL is a non- profit organization that is bringing so much joy to these communities by providing them with a basic need of clean water. You can see these communities change completely after receiving a clean water well. These wells are saving lives. I could speak about these people and their stories for hours, but I’d rather let the photos do the talking.

holy moly! so much beauty! that little boy with the paper in his mouth & the little girl’s face-her eye & those lips in focus with the fuzzy frame, my Lord! i feel like my kids would fit right in, i can see Lilah dancing with that lady & Carter laughing with those kids. i’m so thankful you captured all of the expressions, as heart-breaking as some of them are. so important for keeping perspective. love the new site. i’m sure i’ll be here often

Wow, absolutely beautiful. I am so inspired by your trip! You really captured some amazing moments. Top 3 for me; the little girl between the fence, the little boy on the wall and everyone reaching for water. The one of the bed also captivated me but in a much different way. Great work ~ Andrea
